Lindsey is all about communication - as a writer, editor, author, TV host and speaker.
Do you have several books on the go at once? Yes, me too. Do you haunt cafes that have a rack of the latest magazines? Oh yes, that's essential! I'm a word person.
My own books include two novels, Angel Baby and Lipstick in the Dust; a book on channelling called Pearls: Words of Wisdom from the Ocean of Life; and a nature-based guide to character analysis - The Elemental You: Discover and Delight in Your Primal Personality. Then there was Wise Up: How to be Fearless and Fulfilled in Midlife - an exploration of the challenges of negotiating the juicy and testing years in the decades from 40 to 60.
The Answer: How Nature Can Help You When Life Seems Too Hard came next - a gift book designed to help people in all those moments when they need a touch of calm.
And this year, newly fired up about history and heritage, I've turned out a little book about how to write down stories about life - your life, that is. It's Crack Your Life: How to Tell Your Unique Story - a Writing Guide.
On the other hand, I'm a picture person too.
I blog at http://outlouder.blogspot.com, and write a 'Webmistress' column about all things online for Next magazine.
You're supposed to put awards in these bio pages so, okay, a couple of recent hits involve a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Magazine Publishers Association and a shortlisting in 2009 for the Royal Society of New Zealand's Manhire Prize for Creative Science Writing Award. That was fun, given my complete lack of science education!
These days I'm hosting a weekly half-hour show for Triangle Stratos TV. Let's Talk is a current-affairs magazine show for women - the only all-female talk show on New Zealand TV. See it on Sky 89 or Freeview 21 on Sunday nights, 8pm, repeated 1pm Mondays.
